i just bought a jvc hd camcorder and transfered the files into my computer, i’m able to watch them on the program that came with the camera with no problems but when i try to burn copy or edited them i start having problems .the picture starts to skip and stutter then it will freeze up. i wrote the support people from the software company and they said its probably my computer, it needs its drivers updated so i went out and bought the jvc share station that burns dvds directly from the camera bypassing the computer. i’m still having the same problem the dvd will still stutter and skip.the part that’s driving me crazy is i’m able to watch something i recorded on the camera screen with no proble or if i connect it to the tv and watch a recording its perfect but as soon as i try burning or editing it i run into trouble . any ideas?

Will be a big help to tell us what model you have. As you can read here: http://www.jvc.com/press/index.jsp?item=461 only two modes can make dvd’s Ultra and Fine and if you have the bundled Cyberlink you may use it to convert and authoring a dvd. Basically your camera record in MPEG2 and in order to make a dvd you have to build it and that’s the authoring for menu chapters etc. Try a video converter and use one of your recorded files and convert it to dvd and see if is working. The burning software from Cyberlink is Power 2 dvd and is very esy to use one click style. Open the file from camera with GSpot and find out what format you have and start from there.

I have a JVC Everio HD F1.2 15X 30GB hard disk drive.
I don’t remember if it came w/ any editing cd or not, and want to know which one I can download. Please advise.
Thanks. marcyroban@yahoo.com, and dreamcougar@hotmail.com
