Sort of, Heros is a game with plenty of corny lines and what not, but Sonic runs damn fast in those cutscenes. I don’t see Mario keeping up with the Tornado while running backwards(or fowards).

The thing is, Sonic too powerful. You need a character with limitations so the game is more interesting. If the character is too strong then the game will be too easy, and no one likes a game that’s too easy. That’s why I like Mario better. Mario games have always been a challenge. Every Sonic game I have ever played was too easy, it’s like it was meant for people who are bad at video games.
