"the file contains the following audio data tag 49, you may need to install a new audio codec." was the message i got when i tryed to start a downloaded movie.
were can i find this codec?

I have had the same thing with a file somebody gave me to see if I could play it properly (they couldn’t). No luck for me either.
If it helps anyone, it’s an .avi file.

i had a similar problem. try downloading vlc media player. its free and it should play all codecs
