not playing the music

my computer won’t play music, it has sound and apparently all the codecs... but it just won’t play the sounds.... the files open but nothing plays

Have you already tried the AC3Filter??
I Had that problem also in the beginning but when I installed this program the sound worked..
Just try it

Go to http://ac3filter.sourceforge.net/ and look at downloads.
