VSr file extension player needed

Hi i was curious if someone can tell what kind of player i need to play my .vsr extension file. I hope the player is free. i tried VLC does not work i downloaded i guess almost every player and have not been successful or may be someone can teach me how to convert this file format in dvd or avi.
