How do I convert an AVI file with AC3 audio into playable DVD

I have been trying to burn an AVI file to DVD to play in my set top DVD player. There is sound on the AVI, but not on the converted DVD.

I followed Colin’s instructions (3.4.05 “how to convert an AVI or MPEG into playable DVD”

and everything worked perfectly except for the sound.

I have now discovered the audio is AC3.

Could someone tell me how to burn this to DVD please.

maybe u can try some useful converter such as imtoo dvd creater,which can convert avi to dvd easily.

get the ac3 codec just google it
