Unable to download an appropriate decompressor. (Error=80040200) THE FOURCC IS CDVC

Hi I am experiencing the same problem. THE FOURCC IS CDVC I have downloaded the codec as per the instructions but the avi file can only be heard.

Pls advise what I must do I am using windows 2000.

CDVC is the Canopus DV Codec. Get it here

Hello,

I can’t play a *.avi file at my computer!
I get a message in the windows media player:
“Unable to download an appropriate decompressor. (Error=80040200)".
Where can I find one or what can I do about it?
