Vokey Guest | Hi,
I had got a file DVDrip movie file. It is in .avi format. I had installed Divx and Xvid codecs but I still cant play on my windows media player...Do I have to install other codecs?

Vokey Guest | Ok..i found out the it is using FOURCC code “0” format and from the past forum on FOURCC code “0”, there seem to be no conclusion..so I done some searching for it...Seems like there’s no such code is it?
I download FOURCC changer and tried to change the code but still cannot be played..so my guess is that the video file is a fake? or there is still some remedies for this?

Scary Fellow Guest | FOURCC code “0” means basically u have a fake file with 2 hours of nuthing .... hope that helps

tryhelpya Guest | before you throw away the avi file download vlc player free from www.videolan.org and see if it will play in that i am not saying the previous post is wrong its worth a try after the time it takes to dl a film ?

j1234 Guest | if the file asks for ez codec, its a trojan so don’t download it. LISTEN - i think his file is a fake movie file so that he downloads a virus. hope this helps.

meh Guest | vcl player is good if it dosent play it and nothing else that you have does then there is a good chace that it is a fake file or was currupted at some point.
