I have the SCD353, and I recently took vacation videos on the tapes, how do I get those onto my computer so that I can burn them onto DVDs? I can watch them on my computer but that seems to be it.
Thanks

Does this software work for camcorders that use Hi-8 video tapes?

OK,

There should have been a few cable that came with this device, and a CD to install a driver and program on your PCs.

The driver so the device is noticed and the program to remove the items on the device and place them onto your PC.

The cable should have the male end of a usb cord.

Plug that into your PC and the other end into the device.

The device may power on, after being hooked up to the PC.

Now open the software, it may be labeled for use with the device and video.

It should help you from there,

although if you could post a few pictures from the menus you have I could help you further.
