How to uninstall ALL CODECS

Hello, I do see some posts in regards to this on the site, so I do appologize.

But I just did a fresh install of xp home, installed nero 7, and uninstalled it using all of there clean tools.

I see with sherlock that I have some proken nero codecs, it says they were not uninstalled properly, I just want to uninstall all the codecs that I have, and reinstall the default windows ones (at least I want to get rid of all the nero stuff.) And then decide which extra codecs i want to use.

I also have a creative x-fi extreme music, dont know if that makes a difference. thx for help in advance.
