Cant Playback MPEG-1 in WMP

Please can someone help me. I have been frantically trying to get my codecs back together after a system restore. I have TONS of music videos the I played through WMP10, but since new installation it doesnt reckognise them.

Ive used movie codec finder and it says they are MPEG-1 (but I think it can only scan MPEG-1, so dont know if I should trust it). Tried all standard codec packs and stand alone MPEG-2 codecs....thats what I though was the problem before I got movie codec finder.

Sorry if this is all to much information, but this isnt making me a happy man!!

Please help!!!
