RoyalistCavalier Guest | Hi
I have this Troy movie thats called Troy divxmp1audio.avi, but when i try to open it with windows media, jet audio an dvx i get the video but no sound. I have tried converting it but the audio seems unsupported
Divx claims the audio data to be Tag 80?
Can some one please inform me where I can find this please.
Best Regards

Lungman Guest | Streams / media files needing audio tag 80 are compressed using the MPEG Layer-2 audio codec which is built-in into Windows by default. If you are having problems playing back a file of this type it is possible that the file has been corrupted.
One option is to try VLC Media player, which I’ve heard supports Tag-80. It can be d/l’ed here:
www.videolan.org
I haven’t tried it personally, but some people swear by it. Caveat Emptor....

miro Guest | That Videolan player worked for me and my audio data: tag 80 problem, it was the only player to play with the sound. Thanks.
