Most games have copy protection. To make sure you can play these games, most releases have a crack on-disk. Search on the first CD for a 'crack' dir, and copy it’s contents (usually EXE and/or DLL files) to the dir you installed the game to.

Alternatively go to http://www.gamecopyworld.com and get a crack from there. The contents from the zips there are usually the same as the ones on the 'crack' dir.

jhivjshjfhkughskj: click Start, click This Computer (it might be slightly different in another language) Right-click on the CD and press “open” (the third option here)
Now doubleclick on the “crack” or “reloaded” or “deviance” dir. Now hold the left mousebutton and select all of the files here. Now press CTRL-C.

Press UP twice, so you get back to your Computer. now press C:, then go to Program Files, then to the game. Alternatively, it might be on another place, if you told the setup to do so.
If you’ve found the game dir, go into it and press CTRL-V

Plz Help: You need an 'original' installation in order to do the patch. This doesn’t mean you need an original CD or anything, but the files need to be uncracked. The best way is to uninstall, reinstall, apply the patch and then find an updated crack on gamecopyworld.com

anthrax: Find one of the following programs: Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120%. Other programs might be able to do the same.

As mentioned earlier, use Daemontools or Alcohol 120% to mount, or Alcohol 120%, Nero, Sonic or another burning program to burn it to CD/DVD

hi guys

i downloaded a ps1 game and it came in 5 parts. i used winrar to extract them all together. the folder contains a bin file and a cue one. ive tried burning it using sonic after i convert the bin to an iso with magic iso. and ive also tried burning it just by opening the cue with magic iso. neither of them worked i know the file isnt corrupt because it also had a sfv and ive checked with the sfv. i know that the bin file works because i played the game by opening it on my computer with epsxe a ps1 emulator.

what should i do?

You shouldn’t convert it to an ISO. Use your burning program, and point at the CUE file. If you get an error, open the CUE file with notepad. You will see some code, including a filename (e.g. “DKII-RLD.bin”wink

Change that filename into whatever the filename is (especcially with for example files downloaded by EMule, the filenames change)
Now try again burning, pointing at the cue. Do note that you need to use the 'copy' part of Sonic, and then “Burn image to disk”, so don’t try to burn the bin as a file.

Is your PS modded? Other than that the only thing i can imagine is that your ps is fried - do other copied games work?

Hello, I downloaded a game and it came in two .zip files when I extract them, they’re identical to the CDs. I click on the first “CD” setup.exe, the game installs until the installer asks me to insert CD 2, but then nothing I do seems to work!
I tried clicking on setup.exe on the second CD = nothing
Burning the two “CDs” on blank ones and installing from there = nothing
Thank you very much! You guys seem to know how to play a cd with a can opener, and I’m on the verge of trying that... wink

Your 'zip’s are propably actually 'iso’s or similar wich winrar detects to be un-zippable. Try my FAQ http://my-gamebox.com/gemberkoekje/burning.htm and try to use the 'zip’s as a CD-Image.
