I’d like to save some OGM files but there 230MB a peice and I don’t want to use that much hard disk space or CDs especialy since they will be rather numurous before I’m done. I’d like to reduce there size by reducing their vidio quality and (if possible) converting them to simple divx but I’ll settle for just reducing vidio quality. Goal will be to get them under 100MB each. Any ideas how to do this, I would tipicly use virtual dub for such a task but I can’t get it to open the files let alone convert them.

The files are likely to already be in DivX or XviD format, only they’re in a OGM file (XviD or DivX video with Ogg Vorbis audio).

You will need to use VirtualDubMod to extract video and audio separately or maybe save out as AVI etc. Lotta work tho and A LOT of quality loss, if going down to 100MB.
