i downloaded these of a WinMX. They were a *.mpg file and they won’t play in Xing MPEG player or WMP V9.

I used G Spot to find out more information regarding the files. They had no VIDEO stream but they had audio. The funny thing is, the sizes of the files are huge! They were listed as videos but I don’t understand why there isn’t a video! I don’t think the people sharing them out intentionally want to waste bandwidth.

I can’t seem to play it, does anybody have any suggestions?? Rename the files?

thanks!!

Hi,

I’m sorry. That generally happens when someone made a ugly/spamming reply that had nothing to do with your post where the moderator deleted it before you got here :/

Yeah, I usually delete the rather obvious “repeat offender’s” post, especially if I find it replies abusively to someone’s post.

Bjarne Lundgren: Has that thing, which keeps on posting nonsense replies, got something against the site?

mmcc: try playing the file in VLC (www.videolan.org).

In regards to people wasting their bandwidth - it certainly happens because they can afford to, as there are organisations, such as the MPAA and RIAA who like spreading fake files. They have connections in excess of 1000Mbps, and flood the P2P networks. They are just attempting to interrupt file-sharing.

The files you have could just be fakes tho :-(

Well, he must really hate the site or something. I mean why the hell else would he spend so much time posting here? He needs to get himself a life.

i think what you guys have here is great. It is good to see people helping others out.

Those files could be a fake. They are just wasting my bandwidth which is extremely annoying.

I thank you all once again for your help.
