I’m trying to copy a DVD using DVDClone or DVD shrink with 'DVD for free' in the background to counter the region. I’ve tried other 'guaranteed burning software', but still get the gollowing message.
DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue this operation....CDvdCSS::Read Failed! The reason is: Data error (cyclic redundancy check)
I’ve copied alright in the past but this one beats me.

DOH Guest | CSS IS USUALLY A COPYRIGHT PROBLEM TRY RIPPING THE DVD FIRST WITH A PROGRAM LIKE DVD DECRYPTER OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. CHECK OUT DOOM9.ORG

Frasbo Guest | Thanks DOH, I’ll try Doom9. I’ve tried DVD Decrypter without any luck, it hasn’t let me down in the past so thats why I assumed that perhaps it was ahradware problem. Cheers
