Need help to convert one movie to VCD

I downloaded one movie from a bittorrent with the extn .mpeg and I just wanted to make a vcd of the same. I cannot play the same movie with windows media player, can play this only on mediaplayer classic or VLC player. When I tried to make vcd using nero I got error and shown a message that this is not a valid media file. I checked the same with Gspot codec information it shows the codec is 'MPEG1_Payload' and status 'Codec(s) are Installed'.

If the codecs are installed then why can’t I make a vcd of the same. Please someone help me to solve the problem.

have you tried xilisoft or super, i’ve heared of these two converter, there is link to download xilisoft ,you can try.

Yes its working! Thank you very much for your help. I used an unregistrade version of xilisoft mov converter and it is only encoded upt to 5 minutes video.
