Hi, I am a bit new to Backing Up CD’s, The first time I tried, It screwed up. Anyways as the story goes, I just got a new computer w/ alot of software and wanted to back up my investment. I bought Photoshop and Office and it costed a lot and wanted to make sure I have a double in case I lose it and so on. How would I do it? Thanks.

Get urself a really big capacity xternal hard drive. Either in USB or Firewire. Best is from 500GB n Upward.
PS: Plz do not mention the words like I bought it n its cost alot. Softwares/Programmes that comes in CD packages doesn’t needs BackUP when ur PC screwed up. All it need is safekeeping.

BP is right you can find tones of softwares but my advice is Roxio Easy Media Creator 8.0 has all in one and is better at this moment than Nero. With Roxio you can backup data, the entire hard drive if you want and also has an application Drag to Disc that you can use a dvdr like a floppy disk for storage.Just drag the folder on icon and the software is doing the rest. If the budget is not an issue the price is only $40.
