I have some questions about video files that require you to get a license to play.

Is there anyway to get past the license required to play some protected video files? If a video file needs a license to play it, do you just need to find a way to decrypt the file? Are all the files encrypted the same or can whoever protected the file use any kind of encryption they want?

You usually need to go online and download software, aka spyware, to be able to view the video and I’d rather not do that. Any ideas?
