Siddharthan Guest | I have MP4 .... Some video files are working other clips are not working and audio files are not working.
Also, I tried MP3 Player. All the Folders are getting Duplicated and occupying the memory. They are not able to be deleted.
Can any one suggest remedies.

i never encounters any of these problems ...althought i oftenly format the mp4 in question! and each time i just copy and pastes my mp3 or wma music files to it and it is ok ...for movies ,it is simple just have to convert the file to amv or mtv format using the cd that comes with it....IF YOU HAVE ANY SUGESSTION OR QUERY TO WHAT I WROTE E-MAIL ME TO taz1free@hotmail.com

I had the same problem. The solution, in my case, lay in using another USB cable, one I had with the same fitting for a Nisis DV camera.
OH by the way do NOT do what I tried to do and fill my so called 4GB player, it is not in fact that size but a 2GB which is hacked! As most 4GB ones tend to be, e.g. they report 4GB because there is another 2GB chip in there, only one the original actually stores anything! The thing locks solid if you fill it. Solution: Under Windows XP go to start, run, type CMD, (DOS) then type format {the drive letter of the player, in my case it was E}, doe not use the Windows format disk as this will format to FAT32 and the thing will not work with this type of format it will only work with FAT, (FAT16) if the above DMD format is done Windows will format player with the format it is already, FAT16. Note as far as I can remember Winsows '98 formats to FAT16, but it is best to substitute CMD for COMMAND. To exit this DOS box just type the following: exit. Note you will of course have to re load your movies and music again, but you should like me have a working player again.
Backup your players contents onto your hard drive, this makes this a whole lot easyer!
I hope this helps some of you out there.

tools:
1)MP3 Player Utilities 3.06 (convert to MTV)
2)MP3_and_MP4_Utilities_3.57(convert to AMV)
this two tools don’t convert MPEG4 and MOV files
third: for mov files and MPEG-4 FILES, you have to convert them to avi file (for exemple)then convert to amv or mtv: you have to use an mpeg 4 and mov converter: avi-mpeg-converter3.1.7.0712b

I think I have the same MP4 as urs sittingbull. Except that I have lost some of my folders (had accidently deleted it) + instead of it’s usual 2GB it had became 115MB. I hope that u could help me out. I’m not sure what folder had I deleted by accident.
