the sellers hack the devices so they display more memory than they actually have until you format them.
once formatted you get rid of the hack and it displays correct capacity.

Actually when i plugged it out from my car audio system it stopped working and now whenever i plug it in it displayes a busy icon plus my pc recognise that a USB device is plugged in but it doesn not displayes the removable disk icon there in my computer.
Its 1GB mp4 digital player.

u can use an external battey to operate your player.
u have to make some little modifications to your player.

it is due to a bug in the player.
this problem can not be solved.
my player also have the same problem.
try to format our player in fat format using mp3 player utilities.
