i’ve got brand new iPod mp4/AMV/REC/FM, model# A1137, Serial# 7N5530VFSZB. It can’t play music and suddenly stops after few seconds of turning it ON.

I own too a chinese “mp4 ipod”, but it doesn’t work, so I want to upgrade it.
I can copy the archives but when I turn it on it seems like there was nothing on it. However when I explore it, the archives are there, and if I try to delete them, sometimes they duplicate after they’re deleted.

I encountered the same problem about my Made in China Sony 4GB MP4 player. It gave me 233MB memory when I reformatted it. It also has virus which is so adamant, took me considerable time to remove it. I opened the player and looked for the memory chip. It is HYNIX HY27UF082G2A. Do you have any idea what is it’s physical capacity?

I couldn’t find this information from HYNIX site. The nearest I can find from their list is HY27UH0G2M which has a 256MB capacity.

I have an ipod nano 8G copy from china that has the firmware

I can get about 15 songs on the ipod and get it to work correctly. If I put any more songs on than that they do not play. when veiwing through windows it shows the full 8G of memory

Anyone have the answer?
