After I d/l my avi file, and burn it to DVD, can I play it on a regular dvd player or does the player have to support dvix. The avi file was a divx movie.

I usually use winavi.com/avi-to-dvd.htm" rel="nofollow" target="_new">WinAVI to convert avi file to dvd format, then burn to disc. But if your player can support avi,you don’t need to do conversion.

It’s written on the box when you buy it... Otherwise, just TRY one and you’ll see... DUH.

it’s very easy to know weather your player support avi or not, drag the avi file into the playlist...
if it doesnot support, download a condec from www.moviecode.com or buy a powerful converter such as imtoo avi to dvd converter, depends on yourself.
there are lots of subcatagories of avi file...
