need help with mp4 files

it seems that Quicktime converter can’t support mp4 files, is that the case? or any other converter can do the conversion?? thanks for any help

yes, it doesn’t support the m4v files from Apple iTunes Music Store, because these m4v files are protected by DRM(Digital rights management ).you can resort to xilisoft video converter

hey brad joe , it’s wierd that your answer deosen’t relate to relanda’s question
well ,quick time converter does support mp4 ,if there is something unsual hppens ,you might not deal with the settings corretly
and xilisoft does has a soft able to do the conversion

you can also use quicktime6 to make and play MPEG-4 audio and viedo files.but what shouldb e mentioned is that .mp4 file is not a quicktime movie.

my mp4 and all of my friends play music fine but the movies
dont work.
