Hi guys, i’m relatively new at this so... please excuse the newbie-ness.
I want to burn a bunch of AVI episodes (of an Anime) onto a DVD+R so it could play on my DVD player.
Now, is this possible at all? If not, is there other possibilities for it to show up on my DVD player?
Please take into consideration that i’d like resonable quality but I have about 200 episodes to burn so =\

No video converter to work with iso file.In order to convert it extract the mpeg with any iso tool like Isobuster or MagicIso and convert it to mpeg 2 for dvd.Xilisoft is a nice one I have the DVD Creator and is not bad but the easy one is VSO ConvertX to DVD.Add file and click convert.Virtual drive is working with iso or bin or any image file like Daemon Tools does but might be easier to work with VLC player faster than mounting on virtual drive. Here is a link for VSO retail version.Download the patch( addon) and go to VSO homepage for the latest trial version.Apply patch in VSO directory and you are in business until they come with a newer version. It’s important to set the right TV video system for your country before start the convertion.Works very well with VSO Copy to DVD.Here is the link just search for VSO : www.softarchive.net

glad that my suggestion helps~~and to my knowledge ,xilisoft does manage to convert into iso file.
all you have to do is as follows:
After your video files are loaded into the program, you can get it done by “Burn ISO” item offered in the “Tool” menu of the program. Or you can also do it by the option offered in “File-Burn”. You can get an ISO file which can be used by your virtual DVD drive or Nero.
so go ahead and try on ~~~

Glad to learn something new every day.BTW Anne burn iso is not a convertion. Iso is an image file for burning not an avi file.To convert first you have to open the iso and extract the avi from it and for this MagicIso or Isobuster is the right tool. Also any trial software has a limit for the convertion size of the file and is watermarking the converted file. But is a good effort. If you Google video converter you get about 20-30 pages of softwares and Xilisoft is not the only one. Here is a link to top ten video editors on the market: http://video-editing-software-review.toptenreviews.com/

of cuz ,xilisoft is not the only converter to do the work, but every soft has its own specific features and functions.for example , xilisoft supports multi-language interface , and especially convenient for people from asia.so there is no need to deny any one .we are all here to learn.
