Mounting in Toast, NOTHING HAPPENS

hey everyone whats going on.

i am currently in midst of a HELLISH transfer from pc to mac.
i have been looking for information on help for days and cant find what i looking for.

anyway, heres the main problem. i have bin and cue files for a certain file. i open the cue file with toast 7, save disk image as, then open the image file and i click 'mount'... NOTHING HAPPENS. absolutely nothing.

i run the mac book pro with os x. (and the file is not a video file... so vlc wont help)

do these files have to be in a certain place?
