Hi there, i have a large .avi movie file that i used to watch in Windows Media player. But since i had my computer reimaged, the file will not open and i can not access the file. I’ve also tried to use other meadia programs but it doesn’t work with them either. In windows Media player, in the bottom left corner, it will say ' sending a request for codec' and then 'error downloading codec.' If i click for more information it will say '0xC00D11D2: Cannot access the file' does anyone have any information i might need to fix this? any help would be great. thanks

Could be the codecs you had previously are there no more or you have the latest version of media player which only the previous version was compatible with your avi. If haven’t done so check the avi with GSPOT.
