Do you have a 4:3 TV? If so, the VCD is actually the correct dimensions as it is. It is also correct for playback on a 4:3 television and borders are normal in this instance.
I am a little bit opposed to chainging the correct dimensions of video, but I do I do know of a program that can do it. It’s TMPGEnc:

Basically, load the program and close the wizard, then use the 'Video source:' Browse button to load in your AVI. Now load a template (bottom right corner 'Load'). Then go to 'Load' again and go into the 'Extra' folder and choose 'unlock.mcf'. Now click on Setting>Advanced tab and beside 'Video arrange Method' choose 'Full screen' from the dropdown list and click OK.
Click 'Start' to begin encoding. |
