Realplayer controlling the volume slider on PC

I’m using WinAmp to listen to my music, but when I open Realplayer and pressed the mute button or lower the volume on realplayer it lowers or mutes the volume of my PC. The volume slider on the tray moves with the realplayer volume slider. It didn’t use to do that, and I was wondering what caused this.
I hope you understand what I’m saying. Can anyone help?
Only realplayer does that, the other media players don’t do this.
