I have a Sid Meyer’s Pirates .rar file from which I extracted the cd’s 1 and 2 from in .bin/.cue format. I then converted the .bin to an iso format. I have used alcohol 120 to mount cd 1 (both iso and .cue) and begun to install the program. I then mount cd2 when promted the install continues to the end when after all the files have been copied and the product is being 'published” I get a message that the instal has been interupted and then I’m back to square 1 I’ve downloaded several files of the SMP files but none get past that 'publishing” step any advice?

Re: Frustrated

Yes, i’ve been able to use Alcohol 120% to copy it directly. You might have either too old of a drive or unsupportd drive to use it’s full cope protection cracking features. Also, if all else fails emule is still up. Use it to DL one that’s already cracked.

I am by no means new to this but mds and mdf can be a pain in the proverbials alcohol120% gives me grief it hangs when it should go to burn i have used this before with smaller files and had it workin but on the larger files it sucks. I would prefer if people started using stomp record now max works every time but it does not burn these stupid files, i have been burning for years never had so many problems as with that program so for all you guys who are struggling with it don’t feel stupid cause if i’m finding it a pure !!!! then it nots worth a shit! Nero for iso but stomp is great none of this mounting converting what a bore if a program takes more than 10 minutes to learn for copying then its crap. So its time everybody stopped using it until the developers get it right.

Hi, everybody! I have SM Pirates, two CDs with bin and cue files. Daemon helped me to install the game, but it wont start: “insert the right CD” error. Some of you said that one can use noCD crack. Can you tell me what is that, where I can find it and how to use it? thanx a million !

You’ll find SM Pirates noCD there ...
http://gamecopyworld.com/ ... extract the crack and put it in your folder Pirates. ( overwrite the existing file )

That’s it ! Enjoy wink

Re:MCVampire

well said mcvampire..if there was no piracy as there is..then can you imagine how much richer the companies would be ??

microsoft could buy france..they can buy greece at the moment..

if we can help anyone to have cheaper software then we will..if they are pirating software then this tells me that they are not wealthy and working class people trying to save money..

even with no piracy the games would still be expensive or even dearer as greed is the root of all evil, and the companies will only want more money..if microsoft made windows or office cheaper people would pay for it..but to pay $1000.00AU for an office pack is ridiculous

Situation:

I have downloaded a movie from bittorent with azureus.

This torrent contained 2 .mdf and 2. mds files.

I cannot play it with any of my players. (win, realone, quick)

Thus, i try to burn it on cd, in the hope that my dvd player will recognize it.

But now..

I tried, Alcohol 120%
Failed: it says that my image does not exist?!!

I tried Daemon
Failed: first attempt it said something that it was not possible. after that the mount image button does not seem to work anymore!

HELP

What to do!

re:faithix

convert the file to .nrg or iso by using ultra 7.5.0.956 if it doesnt convert then the files are corrupted.

when converted mount with daemon

u may also find you dont have the correct codec to play the movie..

make sure u have DivX 5.xx or a dvd software

I have the Same problem as “Rome." I am trying to get Rome: Total War to work, but when I insert disk 2 on the install, it doesn’t recognize the disk. It is in iso format.

Has anyone made this game work. If so, how can I do it? Thanks

thnx ! OldManEmu

okay I will try it to convert it into nrg. , cause I have nero burner.
But suppose I convert into ISO , then I will still be able to burn it with Nero, right?

Also, I am not able to find a serial for UltraISO 7.5.0.956. So I cannot convert yet.

I am still on the search........

thnx!

I have the trial version now, but i have a problem again.

When I load the file, nothing happens.

So, how can I see that the file is corrupt?

I downloaded rome total war and took each .bin and .cue file and burned an image on to 3 seperate cd’s. I then re-installed them. I tried to open them up and I keep getting an error that says please insert the correct cd-rom. This obviously means the first cd but it still does not load up. Did I waste my time downloading this game or did I make a mistake somewhere.

Pete,

I think you wasted your time with that download. I did the same thing, and it seems to be a common problem. Check this post here: http://www.moviecodec.com/topics/3424p1.html

hi all,
i got a problem with some games. I downloaded them as MDF files, then tried to run them in Daemon tools. this all worked well. I could install and start them, but after around two minutes my computer restarts automaticly or just freezes, so that I have to restart it manualy.
My questions now: Could this have anything to do with Daemon or the MDF files? Is this an other problem I got with my computer (simillar MDF file games, which I don’t have to run with Daemon, don’t have this problem)?
Thanks for your help!
