My first 'burn' was a movie with an AVI file extension downloaded to PC running WinXP. Everything went well, movie was excellent quality. Since then I have tried burning several other movies with AVI extensions but they were unable to be played on the DVD connected to the TV or my Mac. They were playable on the PC. Do I need additional software? I thought the Mac came with all bells & whistles. Thankyou for any advice.
