folders Video_TS which is empty and video_TS which has .BUP, .IFO, .VOB, and .VOB.nav. If I open the VOB file it plays great on PowerDVD sound and all, but my question is, when i go to burn it to a DVD+R, which files do I need to burn? Just the VOB’s or will the disc need the others to work? I’m planning on burning it with IMG Burn unles someone tells me a better prog to use. Thanks in advance for any help.

tryhelpya, i used WinAVI and batch encoded 3 movies to try to shrink with DVD shrink and it split them into two different folders dvd_0 and dvd_) with the middle film being the one (well half of it ) in the second folder and when I tried to move it all in the first half of the 2nd film showed in the extras tab and it said it couldn’t bring in the 2nd half of it due to not enough memory if you could let me know where I went wrong and what to look for in the future, i’d greatly appreciate. But the first thing I asked about you were right burned the .VOB’s and it played right on my standalone. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.

me personaly
dont like winavi for batching it seems to lose to much picture quality ?

This is what i use and do
1. download avi or divx or mpeg (film)
2. load 3 of the files into dvd santa (each film)
3. convert to dvd sending your output files to a named folder of 3 titles eg (film 1 film 2 film3)as this will split the large film into seprates
4.when it’s finished use dvd shrink to read and write perfect everytime

you MUST have dvd santa FULL version
I’ll send it to you if you need it

Good luck mate (let me know how you get on with it)

Thanks, tryhelpya, can i call u try? Would appreciate that full version of DVD Santa. And could I ask you another question? Is it possible to put a menu on the dvds with 3 movie files or with even 1 movie file, and if so, what program would i use to do it. Thanks again for all your help so far.
