Help!! Avi file not playing

Hi, i was downloading a REALLY old japanese drama/soap. I couldn’t find any good places to download it so i ended up downloading one where one episode was seperated into two parts because of the size restrictions on megaupload.com
however, i found out that the first part out off all the episodes works but the second part doesn’t.

here’s what i mean...
part: 1 - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=KUUM5YVS < — works
part: 2 - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=YAKPQJBR < — doesnt work

I’m guessing something mighta happened when the person was cutting the episodes.
Does anyone know how i can fix this? (PS: yes i tried with VLC and most other players)
