Walt Guest | Heh! finally someone with the same problem!!!please email me back,if you have solved it,because i’m going nuts.I’ve talked to tech advisors up the wazoo,I’ve increased the memory, i downloaded media player 9x they had me check out the load pecentage on the utilities tab i even returned the friggin computer(its a new hp pavillion)and got another one, and still the same problem!!!! what the hell!! the last advisor i spoke with said, the connection cord length(i still have dial up)from my computer to the phone jack is to long. Wha??? so as we speak i’m on my way out to get a shorter one(betcha it won’t work)

kinkz Guest | hello, same problem here,i have cable so don’t bother with the length theory. It has to be a codec problem,so try installing another player (real one, quick time, real one player gold edition.also type this into google search(error message cood11cd)other answers are there...keep trying

anonymous Guest | That’s a microsoft unknown error (windows media player sucks at diagnosing error). I suggest you get your hands on a diagnostic tool like avicodec, gspot, or videoinspector (formerly videotoolbox)
BTW: That’s error c00d11cd, not cood11cd (zero, not oh).

Del Guest | Most of the time its a required Divx codec
http://www.divx.com/
cant hurt to try.

jdd Guest | I had vision and no sound and i had sound and no vision and i fixed everything by downloading more media players
In the end i had to download 4 They were Cyberlink PowerDVD 6
DivX 5.0.1
Media Player Classic 6.4.8.2.
and Avipreview which you get with Kazaa Lite
I got them by entering the above names into google search and downloaded from the sites
The players seem to come with their own codecs and I haven’t had any trouble since.
Hope this helps
JDD
