anonymous Guest | You can use virtualdubMOD to convert it to avi. (not the same as plain virtualdub) Then to go from avi to VCD’s you could use tmpgenc.
http://virtualdubmod.sourceforge.net

h-bbaa Guest | i think you can just convert from OGM right away in TMPGenc. since it is armed with a directshow filter that can open any file windows opens. but then i’m really not sure....

PsychØ_RvS Guest | How can I convert the ogm and have the ability to select the jap/eng subs/dubs that are in it, or choose which dub.sub is saved?
Anything to stop it from becoming raw film...

HedSick Guest | How would I be able to encode it to avi from ogm, while having the subs on there, not as an addon, and the sound all in tact?

Nico Guest | Hi! I used virtualdubmod and when i tried to open a movie an error appears saying: “Couldn’t locate decompressor for format XVID (unknown).
VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable. Only Direct stream copy is available for this video." What does that mean?

Saber Guest | "First in virtualdub mod

then choose which Dub and sub to disable 1 and 2 must be the only one enable...
then save it again..

...I tried that and still get no audio...
I disabled Stream 2 (English) and left Stream 1 (Japanese) and Stream 3 (English text) enabled, it didn’t work, so I tried disabling 1 and 3, and leaving the English track enabled by itself, and nada... any ideas?

vash Guest | Avi can’t have ogg Soundstream. If you want to convert a Ogm file to avi you must first get out the Videostream,Audiostream and Substream. After that convert the Audio to mp3. Put it all together in avi mit Virtualdubmod. Thats all.
To get the single streams, go under Virtualdubmod to streams -> streamlist ->demux
To put the strams in avi go to the same place and choose add.
