I have the same problem:
“I have a Generic 4G Mp3 player from Hong Kong. Any music files that are after the first gig show as format error when trying to play them.I’ve formatted the player, done error checks and defrag. None of this helps. Is there anybody who can give me some advice or that have had the same problem.

My Ciki mp3/mp4 player just switches off when it is turned on and l think it is becoz l formatted it.Nway it asked for that when l tried opening it on ma computer.canl get frimware for this or should it find its way into the trash bin.Please help
