vlc also refers to two free programs that make the iso and burn the cd all with instructions, and FYI ......makeing a video dvd into a copyed dvd that will play on your dvd player is a many step process,the general dvd’s that you buy at the store are much larger than a conventional dvd you burn the ones that you use to burn are around 4.4 gigs and the ones that you buy are aroud 8.8 double that of conventional dvds you use to burn they are called dual layer dvd ordouble layer or double dinsity. vlc wiki tells you and explains some confusions about the dvd world(some).

compuher Guest | i need some help with this one.... k .. i am trying to copy a movie from my computer to dvd-r i usually use nero o burn so im not sure if this will work..... i got some movies off limewire pro and when i played them on windows media player they only had sound..... so i got vlc,,,,, and finally they worked now im wondering if i try to use nero to burn the file on to disc will it have no sound if i try to watch it on a dvd player?

Starvin Marvin Guest | The format is wrong guys....!!! U can never play av Vlc etc. on a dvd-player! U have to download a program to decode it into a dvd playable file :-D. Its one catch, it takes toooooooo long to do it, not at all like burning a .iso cant just mount and burn

Have you tried this - gspot to burn vlc files before? Vlc file just like VCD or SVCD file, it ends with .DAT.

VLC file it just like any VCD or SVCD files that ends up with .DAT.
What I have here it’s VCD with VLC files that end up with .DAT extension.
Need more suggestions.

VLC file it’s ending with .DAT extension.
What I have here is VCD movie with VLC file.
I tried many burning programs or software but no luck so

I tried AVS Video Converter, Nero, Ulead Media Studio Pro 6.5, Avex, DVDDecrypter, Wizardcopy3, DVD Cloner 4, WMP Recorder etc., any most known programs out there, but no such luck.
Any more programs?

gspot wont burn the files for you
it will ID the file for you, it tells you what kind of file it is
then you can work out how to convert and burn from there
