Amanda jOY Guest | Hi there,
I am also MAC. I have VLC, Toast Titanium and DIVX.
I play movies I ripped with Mac The Ripper on VLC.
A friend asked me to burn a movie that is in VLC format so he can play it on a DVD.
If you find a way thank you and if I do I will post it.
Good Luck!

dont say ISO or IMG cause they are just containers find whats inside
then you have to convert it to dvd format

fentanylMay Guest | I think I understand some of the problems here and can clarify what everyone is looking for with my own problem: I have music files that I retrieved from an ipod that will only play in the vlc player. I cannot import them into a burner, such as itunes, and thus cannot do anything portable with my music. This is the problem that BrittBritt was having with his/her audio. What we’re looking for is a burner that will have the same codec that vlc recognizes to play these audio files - thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Cooksta Guest | Hey I hope someone can help me out here...
Is there an application (similar to Nero) that allows you combine subtitles (.srt file) with the avi file onto a CD/DVD? Have been looking all over but can’t find anything on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Scurvy Guest | I think Avi2DVD can let you burn a movie with sound that normally will only work with VLC. I had problems burning these with nero and got no sound. hope this works.

Jase Guest | You all need to get Power ISO. And Magic ISO, that will handle all you want with any file types. Burning, playing etc...

tomoololo Guest | Hey tama, you appear to be the expert :P. this must be driving you crazy... but if you could answer this question it would be a great help. i have and avi file i want to burn onto dvd for viewing on a dvd player. would you briefly run through what i need to do and any free software i should use (i’m a poor student and can’t afford to pay for all this fancy software ) i have tried avi2dvd but if i want to convert an 800MB movie, it says it wants to take up 9.4GB on my harddrive :S and the audiostream makes up for about 8GB of that. what am i doing wrong?
