hear but can't see

hi.
i can’t see movies but i hear the sound (avi files) on the wmp. there’s a mistake with the codec (nomber 0xC00D1197) i don’t know what it means..i’ve been told to get a codec but i don’t know how and which one.. help!! thank you tal

i’m having the same problem and same error wmp and the avi files some won’t even play but others will.

Hey, it’s simple. Download windows media player classic. it has the exact codecs for avi files. i used to have the same problem. good luck.
