Need to convert .bup .vob and .ifo files to .wmv!

jacob80 Entree Rep: 0 Joined: 13 Mar 2006 Posts: 1 OFFLINE Hey guys, I’ve got a Sony DCR-DVD203 Handycam and I need to convert these files to view them in Windows Media Player to edit them. Right now, they are a whole bunch of .vob, .ifo, and .bup files which are unviewable. How do I convert these files so I can view my video(s)?

mar Guest I have a recorded dvd + R of a TV segment where I was interviewed. I would like to edit this piece and then upload to youtube.com I have windows xp which has a movie maker but I can’t access the recording to make a movie. However, I can view it on the player. The files end in bup ifo and vob. Can you please help me? thanks!

victor h Wannabe Rep: 0 Joined: 02 Jan 2008 Posts: 66 OFFLINE yes! I also think you need a dvd ripper program to help you. you can try wondershare dvd ripper,which allows you to rip .vob, .ifo, and .bup files to wmv format to be viewable on Windows Media Player. And it also lets you edit dvd.

Matthew B Guest I have a Canon DC210 and im having the same problem, the camera video records them into all BUP,IFO and VOB but i hav about 40 recordings and there are only about 16 BUP,IFO and VOB altogether, how do i split the files so i can edit them in windows media player?
