i downloaded the amv converter tool.
then when i try to use it i cant convert the frikin file!
the status of the file just changed from “unconverted” to “error”

how do i make it work??

Alright I got my friend to make it work...
dun ask how. But now my mp4 player cant read the file.
Mine’s from China and ppl tell me that it can play AMV files.
But when i put AMV file on my mp4 player.. it just registers as a blank file. In other words it cant play the file. Can any1 tell me what types of video files my mp4 player can play?

Armor_of_God26m Guest | Hey guys, I don’t know it’s a good or a bad news but i’ve got a damn old version of amv converter which really runs smoothly but kind of in its own way, i.e. when I play the video it runs upside down. If anyone is interested in it may be i can send it, certainly it’s virus free but a pup file is attached to it which is a unwanted programm but not a virus and not harmful for the PC.

striker Guest | After some reading i found out most ppl have the same problem with the converter not converting movies.
One of the replies that i read was that someone converted the movies into mpeg and then converted them to amv.
The cheap sony mp4 players that promise playing all kinds of formats like mpeg avi and other seem to play only amv formats.
The software that comes bundled along is the right converter...its just that it wont convert those avi movies.
I haven’t tried converthing the movies to mpeg........i guess its the first next thing in my to-do list....will keep u updated if i find anything.
