Hi all, im quite new to burning DVDs, but i have downloaded several movies and burned them to DVD using NeroVision Express 2 SE, which gives you the added advantage of expanding the file to dvd and giving you menu options, But when you watch the dvds on a player the movie itself is stuttery and every 3 secs it has a slight pause, hardly noticeable, but you know it is there, is there anything i can do to stop this?? or any programs?? sshould i expand the movie first then burn it once expanded?? any help would be gratefully received, most of the movie files are .avi files.

I think you are trying to burn original NTSC movies to PAL.
Because of the difference in frame rates, NTSC movies give a slight pause every second (PAL 25 fps, NTSC 29 fps).
Just burn them as NTSC (option in NERO), most modern dvd players won’t have a problem with that.
