Hello!
First, here is a more recent codec link:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/ac3filter/ac3filter_1_08a.exe
Next, you just have to execute it.
if you wonna be certain it works, open the AC3Filter config in your main menu. Make sure AC3 and DTS are selected in the system menu. After this, open your wmplayer and just enjoy!
If it still doesn’t work, then I don’t know

My windows media player tells me i need Dolby AC3 (2000) my DivX player tells me that my files contain a Dolby AC3 Audio (code: 8192) file. And that I may need to install Direct Show decoder to play the file. I have tried both... My files are in .avi format. If anyone can be of any help me I would REALLY appreciate it... email me at jessi.thomas@wku.edu
