Yesterday I decided I wanted to watch Kill Bill, which I had from some time ago and which I know worked on my computer as I had seen 5 minutes of it. So, I take about an hour to cook a nice meal and sit down and enjoy the bloodshed. Clickety click...and....FUCK YOU! YOU CAN’T WATCH THIS. What? I know this used to work?! I start looking on the internet and find people have has some problems with the film shaking. The file is called Kill.Bill.XVID.DVDRip-DICE, and many people have it through Bit Torrent. Now I remember I downloaded the Bit Torrent software the other day, but didn’t download anything for it coz it woul take too long. Kill Bill I got off a CD and as I said it USED to work. I saw that people were saking that they could see it but it was shaking, and the solution was to download FFDShow, which I did, although my problem was it wasn’t shaking, it was nonviewable! But still nothing. Shit, that was long. Sooo, has anyone got any ideas? I erased the bit Torrent and nada. Is it possible that the Bit T has fucked up my codecs? If anyone helps me I will cook another good meal and share it with them. Thanks!

Did you configure FFDShow-alpha (it should be FFDShow-alpha that you downloaded as opposed to regular FFDShow), so that it decodes XviD? (Start>All Programs>ffdshow>Configuration and choose 'libavcodec' from the dropdown list beside XviD).

Or try uninstalling any previous version of XviD codec and install this version of XviD (remember to disable FFDShow first though):

(XviD-1.0-RC3-29022004.exe (575kb) Codename ni hao!)
