G Guest | ive tried to play a avi file in windows media player, im getting the sound but no picture. an error message appears saying i need to download the Div3 codec. does this mean divx3, i have the divx 5.11 codec installed already so should the file not work? if not then were can i get the older codec? cheers

anonymous Guest | The divx 5 codec *should* be able to handle divx 3, but it doesn’t always work. if it fails get the divx 3.11 codec here.

Brent Guest | I have the opposite problem. The picture comes through perfectly, but there is no sound. I have DivX Pro 5.2.1, and have tried downloading the file over agian, and reinstalling. If someone could help me solve this problem that would be great. Thanks!

Yor Guest | Try Video Fixer First On All File first If It wont show in Windows media player Try to View in AVI Preview by AJ  Can view even partial AVI files like partial download of movies to check its what it says it is as to fixing avi files use Video Fixer www.video-fixer.com will check it and Is able to fix Most problems regards Yor Australia .
