AFTER i convert my video i hear no SOUND...help.

Ok i got this avi video i hear the sound just fine but when i convert it to mpg it doesn’t have sound anymore. I got the ac3 filter/codec already installed for it. I use TMGEnc to convert all my avi files. any help thanks.
