Entree Rep: 0 Joined: 09 Feb 2006 Posts: 1 OFFLINE | I uploaded some home video and the video is perfect but I get no sound. When I tried to play it on WMplayer I recieved an error message. It plays the video but tells me I am missing the codec needed to play the audio. I clicked on the link for it to search wmplugins.com, but it told me it was not available for download from that site. It gave me the “WaveFormat or FourCC identifier of the codec” which is:
1B81BE0D-A0C7-11D3-B984-00C04F2E73C5
I don’t know how to find this specific codec or how to tell if the codec program I find even has the codec I need before I download the entire program. Can someone help me??

Death666 Guest | You need an Mpeg 2 codec appearently.
Try this:
http://www.moviecodec.com/downloads/33d.html
and select the codecs you are missing.
