i’ve done simple searches through google and i’ve seen a lot of 'decompressor' terms associated with AC3, but what i wanna knoe is whether i can recompress an AC3 format audio to a smaller bitrate? if so, how do i go about this? do i need any other codec besides the AC3 filter?

Joseph Guest | Go to www.Doom9.net. Open Audio Tools check BeeSweet and BeeLight(GUI for BeeSweet-easy to use)there you can load your AC3 file and recode with different bit rate.
