Hi Folks,

I have just entered this world of downloading and creating DVD´s and having a few probs. I find I have downloaded a MPEG file and of course my Nero programme (not the latests Neró´s) will not burn it, I gather I need to cahnge it to a VOB file, is this correct and what´s the best way to do that??

Cheers

Annie

are you wanting to burn it to a CD or DVD? If u are wanting to burn it to a CD then you need to convert to SVCD, which Nero can do. If it is just a simple conversion, you can use winAVI video converter (The serial is at Serials.ws and Serialarchive.com). If you are like me and want the best quality, u can use TMPGEnc Plus or Xpress to convert it to .mpv and the audio will be .wav, along with TMPGEnc DVD Author to combine them and create a VOB with a menu to access it on the DVD. (You will need to convert the .wav to .ac3 with BeLight which is free and located at dspguru.doom9.net). Using TMPGEnc Plus and TMPGEnc DVD Author will give you the BEST results. Their serials are also at Serials.ws
