Brent Kaul Guest | Hello all, I am somewhat new to the video editing world and am trying to master the export settings to get the best looking video for posting online. I use iMovie to edit and right now export with the h.263 codec (I would like to use h.264 but I not enough people are using QT 7 I don’t think), 15 fps, keyframes every 150 frames, and the data rate I set to automatic and I put the slider half way between medium and high.
Audio - I use the AAC encoder at 48mhz and a datarate of 80.
That gets me pretty decent looking videos at a file size of 400x300 (I know that’s a little big but I prefer to keep it larger). Videos end up being about 3.25mbs/minute. Anyone know if I can get better looking videos without making the file size any larger?
Any help would be appreciated.
